Blue Heron Lake House w/Kayak

Overall, very nice experience. We were visiting Columbia to attend our nephews graduation from basic training at Fort Jackson. It was very nice to have a home to come back to and rest after his graduation vs. going back to a hotel room. The house was clean, but does need some overall updating. The queen bed in one of the bedrooms-not the main bedroom-was not very comfortable. Every time one of us slightly moved in bed, the bed would squeak loudly. Updating this would do wonders. Also, could benefit from a dehumidifier. We did notice a musty smell. Overall, I would score this home a 7.5 out of 10. Very close to the base which made it super convenient and nice. Communication with the host was outstanding. I would stay there again if needed.
